Thanks everyone. The reason I am asking Angie is that she has written that she wears turtlenecks in winter like a cami.
(I wore them with a long sleeve layering tee underneath)
I really like having my neck covered in winter. I wear turtlenecks most days. My house is unheated and so are most of the enviroments I am in. While I could wear a scarf, I find them too fiddly to wear in the house,. I do often wear them outside, but they would hide the main detail of this blouse, which is the main point in wearing them.
And to reiterate - I was cold INSIDE (at church). I run cold, but lots of others were commenting on the coldness too!
missvee, my sister has been recommending merino underneath layers too - I may investigate. Still don't know how I'd go with my neck uncovered.
