Hi Angie --

I'd love to see a post on where to find good dresses for the fall and winter. I've been loving wearing sundresses all summer and would like to continue to dress-wearing trend into the colder months. I get tired of skirts and sweaters. What do you suggest/

Would any of your summer dresses be versatile enough to pop a long sleeve length layer underneath and add thick tights and boots to make it cold weather wear? x

A couple could make the transition, but most are pretty summery. I'd love to find some dresses that I won't freeze in this winter! I'm stocked up on boots and tights!

I'm definitely hoping Angie will do a post about this too, and I know she'll chime in as soon as she's back from her holiday (19 August).

In the meantime: are you looking for casual dresses (a sweater dress could be a great idea, although the "perfect" one is hard to find) or work dresses too (and what's the dress code at your job?).

Sweater dresses are certainly an option and I have one. Finding one that doesn't fit like a sack is a little tough -- at least it was last year. I'd like to find a combination of casual sweater dresses and more dressy professional attire.

I love Boden dresses (see link to the right!) There's always interesting colors and patterns, nice details, and best of all, no one around here ever has the same dress as I do!

For a professional look, I'd go for a light- to medium-weight sheath dress, under which you could wear a button-down shirt or turtleneck, or you could wear a nice cardi over it. Pop on some boots and you'll be ready for the colder months!
