I am really discouraged that I ever can find well fitting white straight leg jeans in my life time! I guess I have too many fitting problems:
- most likely need them in size 14 as I want to size up in white denim so it is not too tight in the thigh area.;
- need longer inseam - at least 33 1/2 - 34 for straight leg opening;
- need lower rise.
From all premium denim I have tried Paige jeans were the only brand which fitted me well; however it is almost impossible to find size 33 or 34 and this is the size I would need for white jeans: size 32 fits too snugly which is OK for a dark wash but hideous in white.
I tried tall sizes in different non-premium brands for better length but then my problem is that they also have longer rise and I end up with bunched and wrinkled crotch area. So far I have tried CJ, Gap, BR, ON, Long Tall Sally - all of them have too long rise for me. Kut jeans fit me OK by they are too short.

I just measured my Paige jeans and I have 9 1/4" front and 14 1/2" back rises for size 32. My one and only pair of Paige jeans in size 33 has 9 3/4" and 15 1/4" rises and also fits well.

I see there are white jeans on Ann Taylor website: curvy and modern. They come in Regular and Tall but Regular inseam 33 1/2 may be OK for me in the straight leg. Angie, have you seen them? Do you think they are worth a try? If you fitted them on your clients do you think they are similar in the fit of Paige jeans?

Sveta, I haven't seen their white jeans but I did own a pair of the Modern fit skinnies in a dark wash. I still have them and use as clams.

They are quite a thin fabric (but not as thin, say, as the Zara jeans or the BDG ones at Urban Outfitters). They have quite a lot of stretch. I sized up in mine (unintentionally, actually...I thought this was my size pre-YLF -- I had not bought jeans in 5 years and really had no idea how the new, stretchier jeans would bag out!) and what I got was a comfortable, slightly slouchy fit. It does not look like elephant skin wrinkling the way some sized up leggings can look. (So maybe that gives you an idea of the fabrication - and I do think a person could size up in these, unlike some thinner jeans, where it simply leads to unappealing wrinkling).

I liked the jeans a lot and definitely got my wear from them. I fear they might be a bit thin for white jeans, if they use the same fabric. OTOH, I think they would certainly be worth a try. Or maybe one of our TO people could go take a look at them for you. They wouldn't have your size in the store but at least you could see the fabrication.

I wish I could help you, Sveta; I just went on the Nordstrom site and although there are a number of white jeans, the sizing is limited. Paige is a great choice. I don't have any experience with AT and hopefully Angie can assist here. Zara jeans run small to me. Hope you find something.

I have not seen the AT white jeans in person on a body yet, but I would try them for sure.

There is also the option of getting the Catherine BF's in white. Not full length, but you'll rock the look - like you already do in blue:

Sveta, just FYI - I like my matchsticks in white. Of course they're not "tall" LOL, but hopefully they'll work for you.

OH, FYI - I had to size up in the matchsticks in white - the SA said they changed the sizing this spring. I'm wearing the same size that are definite BF jeans in a blue wash.

Thanks Sona, unfortunately I have never seen Joe's in size above 32.
Sarah, that is not a good sign as the biggest size I see in Matchsticks is 33 - there is nowhere to size up if it is too small!
Angie, thanks for the recommendations. I need to explore J Crew, I have never shopped there. Do their jeans work for curvier bottoms? Also thanks for tip on Kut BF. I did not know they have them in white, it can be a fun option!

Just a word of caution about the J. Crew matchsticks in white: I have a pair of matchsticks that I sized up in to wear slouchy (in blue denim, size 32). They are *very* baggie (can remove them without unbuttoning) and somewhat mid-rise (i.e., they hit about 1.5-2 inches below my belly button). I ordered the white matchsticks in the same size up, and they were waaay too small, I think mostly because the rise was comically low (about an inch below my hip bones, hitting below the top of my underwear!), so the waistband hit me on my hips. The matchsticks must be pretty random when it comes to sizing.

I must have looked for 5 years and bought a couple of pairs of so so ones in that period. I finally ended up with the J. Crew toothpicks from the Outlet not the main store. I shopped J. Crew regularly but never tried the white jeans because I didn't like the blue jeans at all on me. Go figure.

Sveta, I'm in a hurry and don't know if anyone mentioned, but have you tried MEXX, European brand? I think I've seen CAD on their price tags, that should mean they exist somewhere in Canada, I hope.

In any case, I actually saw white jeans today as I walked past their store and rememembered your thread The fabric is a bit thin for denim and for my personal liking. But, MEXX is great for tall girls like us and you might be lucky with them as they often do 33 seam, sometimes 34.

I second the suggestion of trying Levis - I just looked on their site though and right now the skinny whites are not avail in Long but they may be back in stock soon. They have a 9.5" rise and they have the right waist sizes - just need the Long version in stock again.

Angie, Kuts are 32" inseam and they end just below my ankle bone, no scrunh whatsoever. I would prefer at least 1" longer for some scrunch but if they are pretty tapered it may work as well. I saw them in YLF Finds this morning, may order. Do you know if they run big - should I order my size or one up?
Mia, thanks. J Crew is hard for me to shop as we don't have this store in my city and online shoppig may be pretty expensive when you have no idea about their sizing and fit. I think I need to get to their B&M store in Toronto at some point and try things out to figure out the sizing.
Ornella, we do have MEXX here, I will definitely give them a try, thanks for the tip: I did not know they have jeans.

AT definitely tends to run longer; I can usually get away with regulars for sure although I'm not quite a tall as you are. The fabrications of AT denim can be all over the place from true denim to more of a thin twill on colors.

The Levi's curve is also a great idea if you can find it. Have you tried Eddie Bauer? I ask because i am a big fan of their curvy cut and they have, at least in some styles, a longer inseam but a regular rise - I think it's called long as opposed to tall, but don't take my word for it, check the website size charts. I don't know if you have a store locally but all their talls are online/catalog only.

I really enjoy my white bootcut J Crews (tall) and so that was going to be my suggestion. The rise is great and the fit is great, and I sized up because they are white. However, I think in general J. Crew is better for rectangles...at least that has been my experience. Maybe someone else can weigh in on this, too? Curvy girls?

Sveta, you might want to consider ordering online from J. Crew. The standard shipping is $9.95 and the website prices are in Canadian dollars. Returns are easy, although you do have to pay return shipping. Keep an eye out for promotions that include free shipping or discounts; they are offered on a regular basis. You can also contact one of the J Crew stores and ask for a personal shopper; the PS will ship directly from the store's stock which can sometimes be less expensive. I've ordered both online and directly from the store and been totally satisfied in both cases. J Crew is one of the "good guys" in my online shopping books.

Kyle, this is what I wondered too: will J Crew fit curvier bottom?
Gaylene, it is nice to know J Crew shipping is reasonable but I really need to get to the store first to see if their cuts are good for me at all. my problem is that when I order trousers or jeans my return rate is something like 30:1 due to a difficult fit so even a reasonable shipping can be quite expensive.

Sveta- I just bought a pair of men's straight leg white jeans by Buffalo Denim at JCP for $40 (I know! crazy cheap). Inseam is 33"...I like a 33-34" inseam myself and these fit the bill! I am considering taking in the leaeg a bit at the bottom though... they have a touch of boot cut to them, in my opinion.
