Angie, where can I find "tall" sized casual and business casual clothing for Andy? I need to gently encourage him to branch out from Eddie Bauer and Lands End. Thank you

You are cute, Laura.

Andy is 6ft2. Assess WHERE he is tall. Blokes are different animals. I have 6ft 3 bloke clients who do NOT wear tall pants. I have 6ft bloke clients who do. Sometimes their length is in the legs and sometimes it’s in the torso. It’s rarely both. Mens Euro stores are automatically cut longer in the limbs AND various brands offer various cuts. For example, Greg wears Hugo Boss almost exclusively (a bit of Ben Sherman and Kenneth Cole thrown in too). He is not tall but his proportions are “regular” because he’s slim and quite thick set. I know that it makes no sense, but there is method to my madness.

So, back to Andy. We need to assess his body type first. What’s his inseam requirement? Is he slim, regular or very cuddly? (Which means that there is more of him to love!)

I adore men’s clothing! We’ll get Andy sorted. Promise.

Thanks for asking this question, Laura! My husband is 6'3 and very slim. We have a terrible time finding things that fit. He has very long arms and legs. Anxious to get tips for helping him dress!

My husband is over 6' too - he wears a 34" or 35" inseam, which is the same as what I wear for flats - it baffled me at first, because I'm 5'10"!

I know of some stores that sell "tall" tops and bottoms for men, but I am interested in what Angie has to say.

I look forward to seeing more replies. My husband is 6'5. His inseam is 36", and he's pretty slender, and like Susan, we have a hard time finding clothes that fit well.

So I am not alone in having a husband with fit issues! Andy carries his height in his legs -- he has a 34" inseam. BUT, with his regular length torso, he also has VERY long arms. His shirt size is 16" x 35". He is 198 lbs. -- not super skinny but not heavy at all. His waist is 36".

I'm sure glad no one discusses my body measurements online Isn't it nice to be a guy (bloke)??

p.s. Andy wears Hugo Boss too. And I think he could wear Armani well with his height.

Laura, 34 inch inseams are regular for Euro stores. In fact very easy to find at BR too. Get to Mexx, Kenneth Cole and Hugo Boss for tops and try all their fits.
