Okay, after all my moaning and whining in my last update, I got an email this morning asking me to come in for an interview at a well known magazine, for a fashion writer position. Nevermind that it's 2 days after I touch down in Malaysia and I'll be battling jetleg -- that's nothing makeup can't fix! -- but more importantly, WHAT DO I WEAR?

I know it seems pretty early to be talking about it, but I'm packing up some boxes to ship on Sunday, and since I'm using the cheaper option of cargo shipping, it'll take weeks, if not months, for those boxes to arrive, and I'm trying to figure out what I need to bring home in my suitcase to survive the interview process.

So far, I figure I have to be trendy, but still professional, right? Something not too stuffy, and something that shows I have a strong style point of view? I'm thinking either wide leg tweed trousers, crisp white shirt and black vest, with a statement necklace and red heels, OR a fuchsia sheath dress with jacket, hose and booties. Or should I be taking a whole different route? I haven't been to an interview in 3 years, much less one for a fashion magazine, so I'm hopelessly lost.

Thanks for any advice!
