Ask Angie: what do you think about these bombers?

I really liked the style of Mural bomber from NAS but could not stand the quality of the faux leather.
I found 2 bombers in Danier: leather black / white and mixed media burgundy wool/ black leather.
Do you think any of them has a potential?

Wow Sveta, the prices are unbelievably good! Very obviously not Angie, but I like both of these. I am more partial to the first one. Cream and black *sigh* and the quilted sleeves make it read trendy chic to me:) The second one is lovely too and reads a little masculine in styling (not a bad thing).

Obviously not Angie either, but man, that is a good price. And that first jacket is so pretty! I like it too - unless like Deborah said, you want more masculine tendencies.

I prefer the black & white, due the colour combo and the quilted sleeves.

Maybe I'm barking at the wrong tree here, but I do believe these bombers (both) look a bit...hm... teeny. I get this feeling from how short they are (hitting at the waist on the pics) and because they have this cuffs both on the waist and on the wrists. I know cuffs are marvellous when it's windy and chilly, but I can't help feeling them as being... less grown-up than plain sleeves.

My reserves, of course, are not to be taken into consideration if you plan to use the bombers only in casual settings.

I like them both. The second one seems to me a perfect indoor jacket - an alternative to a blazer for our Canadian winter months. Now I have to go to Danier

Thanks for chiming in. After posting them I decided to check the size and the only one left is L - and Danier's L is huge on me. so it is a moot point really
Jurocha, I think you pinpointed what exactly made me question them in the first place; I think it is the cuffs which are too sporty for me. Thanks for the "aha" moment!

I found this bomber at Aritzia (navy and black), not leather but a gorgeous crepe and sleeves are long enough for the tall lady. I think it is a bit overpriced for a synthetic fabric but the fit was just so great I snapped it up in a size large.

Ha! I love the one from Aritzia in the blue/black (good choice!), but it does amuse me when synthetics are branded as very special "Japanese" fabrics. I mean maybe it is new and from Japan, but it is still synthetic.
