Hi Angie,
I've now swapped my camel coat for a red one, and I'm very curious about your opinion on this color for me. I've tried it with a selection of scarves that I normally wear.

The red in the second collage is more true to the intensity than in the first one, it is a tad too bright there.

So - what do you think? Does this work, or is the color wearing me?

My own first impression:
I feel good in the color, it feels more modern and fun, and even though I realize that it is a LOT of red on me, it feels right, and like a fun development from my more safe choices.

I love the red on you! I think being such a classic style coat, you can wear this interesting color.

To my eye there is no comparison, Ingunn. I prefer you in this red coat by about a billion percent. More modern and alive. If it feels right for you too - please keep this colour!

Oh I love the red! Without seeing it, I would have picked red over camel because camel just isn't a color I am drawn to but seeing it on you confirms it. The red looks BEAUTIFUL on you!

This color looks very nice. I was rooting for camel mainly because I think it's a great neutral. I wear lots of red (tops, sweaters, scarves) which are all slightly different shades, and look bad near each other. For a main coat, I would have gone neutral, but definitely would have gone red for a second coat. Also camel works with both brown or black accessories. That's all. I hope the red coat works for you.

That is not the question. The question is whether you could possibly take back that stunning coat. I love the red on you and it is a world better than the camel.

Thanks again, fabulous ladies! I'm so grateful for your patience and support during my process of acquiring a new Winter coat, and I value every word of wisdom and boost here and in the other threads. I'm definitely keeping the red one because it makes me feel more fab than the camel one. I still think the camel colored coat is very pretty, too, but just not the best for me.

I feel calm, happy and confident about this decision now, and any doubt is wiped away. A good feeling!
