HI ladies and Angie! I tried this dress on a whim while looking at other pieces in the Eileen Fisher store and thought, hey, not too shabby. While I don't immediately need a dress, I'm wondering if it fills a potential wardrobe hole for a dressier Summer dress, like one would wear to a nicer dinner or a wedding. It comes in bright blue, off-white and this lovely inky blue and, while this is the Regular size, I could order in Petite to shorten the hem length. I don't have an event, but never can find anything when I do, so;
1) Is it flattering on me?
2) If so, how versatile would it be? I'd thinik it could be nice in the winter with leather leggings, boots and a topper of some type.
3) Am I nuts to consider buying a solid color silk piece, given how easy it is to stain?
Thanks for your input, as I'm sure you've all struggled with a similar situation for a "not quite my life, but my style" piece!
