Ask Angie: Square toed boots

Hi Angie!

I'm new here so I'm not sure how it all goes. Looks like you're in the know so I'd like to ask, square toed boots or not?? I found a black stretch, suede look, 2 inch chunk heel, knee high boot with a square toe. Bought them at Goodwill on a whim and when I got home with them I started to wonder; in or out?

Yes it would be great if you could post a pic. I have some footwear with square toes and I love them. I have always found that look to be a little edgy and interesting, but I do find there are some square toe shapes that can look quite dated.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll be posting a pic of the boots later today (at work, right now). Inge, I think they could be retro modern but no signs of wear. My insecure thought process was, someone who's smart and really "with-it" knew, time is up on these boots. So I decided to find a place where women in the know would honestly say. I'm really excited to be here at YLF!
