Ask Angie: should I keep these pumps?

I am going through my fall footwear wardrobe trying to identify the holes (both wants and needs). I am not sure about these red patent Me Too pumps I got 3 years ago. They are not the most comfortable for me because I sized up a whole size because they were a bit tight in the front. Well, even with am insole it is not always easy to keep them on my feet - but they are not causing me pain or anything.
I will be looking for a better replacement for sure but the question is: do they still look OK with this type of toes and gold hardware> My problem is that I only have one other pair of pumps (silver) so my business casual shoe wardrobe is pretty limited on the whole.
Angie, would you say these can be kept until I find a replacement or not? I like the color (it is more true in pic #2) but not sure if toe shape and heel are dated.

The color is nice, but they don't say "this year" to me because of the toe shape. Have you considered a low heeled snake print pump? I know it's a different color entirely but a softer color might be nice.

I would love to find almond or pointy toe pumps to replace those (and snakeskin print sounds lovely) but with my hard to find size and wider forefoot it make take months (if not years) The sad story of my life!

Angie, do these Earth wedges have potential you think (option of blue, black or burgundy)?
Also these boots - are they dressy enough? Black or brown for me?
I like these d'Orsay flats but not sure if pointy toe would work for me - they usually don't...but there is no harm in ordering, right?

Sveta, Earth shoes have serious arch support in them. Not sure if that works for your feet? They never work for me… it's too much. Those wedges are really nice looking, though.

Gigi Shoes of Prey provide exceptional quality and they are not cheap, but very fab. I have a pair of their shoes:).

Sveta, I love the colour and the shoe style is a bit of a staple. I find that look is generally always available...classic. But if they are not comfortable let them go:).

Wow, that Shoes of Prey link is intriguing - a little pricey, but not exorbitant given they're custom made.

Sveta, I don't hate the shoes, but the combo of the toe shape, the gold links and the patent is giving me a less than current feel, I will admit.

The Earth Wedges are a lot more on trend. My thumbs are up.

Deb, your experience is encouraging. Maybe this is my only chance to get pointy toe kitten heels which are comfortable for my feet? Need to ponder!

Sveta your original pumps do look really good, just not super current. I hear you though on the pain of letting them go when they do work still, and their replacement may not be easy to find. Could you do something to change them up a bit? Remove the hardware, darken it to change the colour and shine, or cover it up with a kiltie fringe? At least that way you can wear them and feel a little newer (and after all they are this season's dark red...) while waiting on the perfect pair.
