These pants are a narrow bootleg. They are too long for flats, too short for heels unless I get a 1" heel to wear with them. As you can see my 1 1/2 " bootie is too high for them but shoeless, as in flats, they are too long. The bootleg also looks too narrow to wear a boot under, unless it was very snug around the ankle. I'm wondering if I should get these hemmed for flats & if they are even a stylish pant. Should I get them tailored into a skinny? If so should I keep the slight relaxed kinda volume in the thigh area? I'm not sure of these pants know what they are supposed to be. They cost a lot of money so if they can become something fab that would be good.
Also what do you think of these leather jackets? The first one I'm showing with & without the detachable faux fur collar. The second one is similar & I feel better in it. I can't put my finger on what I don't love about the first one. It is roomier for layering & a heavier leather. They are both brown. I also have a cropped black leather moto that I like.
Just for fun a WIW to a music event in hippie boho Topanga & yes they did sing kum ba yah, I kid you not! I wore the outfit during the day with the sandals & at night with the a denim blazer (no photo) & boots. This is the first time in my life I'm doing this 70s look, I was only a child in the 70s but my mother dressed like this. I did have a pair of those sandals though in the 70s & a shorter version of the skirt. Just mentioning that I'm not still wearing what I wore over 30 years ago & trying to look young.
Comments on everything welcome from anyone:)
