Ask Angie & Sarah: L.A.M.B. bags

(And anyone else with preferences, chime in!) Ladies! I love your L.A.M.B. bags so much and the styles/prints I really like are on sale. I love the ones that you both have and am considering them. You have really different styles of the handbag so I was wondering about the comfort and utility of them. I want something funky and bright, and I love how you both mix the bold colors into your outfits. Any suggestions? (Also, look at these SAKS prices!)

Thanks for opinions/advice!! My bag purchases coming up are something bold like these and then a basic black bag, but I want to get that in Italy.

Yay! I adore my LAMB bag, and so does just about everybody else it seems. I get so many compliments on it!
Mine is indeed the Williamsfield in Artsy. I love big bags, though. But this is a work bag and I fit a lot of stuff in there. For shopping I would prefer a smaller bag, but that's another day and another dollar. This one works for all occasions for now. It is important for me that my bags be shoulder bags so I can have my hands free.
The reason I personally picked this print is because I wear so many solids, even in the summer. I needed something to funk up my wardrobe and add necessary color. Surprisingly, I find that it goes with almost everything I own right now. And the shade of pink on the bag is my absolute favorite.
My sister has the Williamsfield in African Argyle, and that print is really stunning in person. If you want something funky but not as funky as the Artsy, definitely try this one.
I also love the Acid Houndstooth and would certainly nab that if it was drastically reduced.
Right now I need a fall bag in a solid, so we'll see.

Ack. I kinda want ALL of them. While I have a decent amount of prints, I have plenty of solid bags and then plenty of solid clothes. Does this style fold well? Is it comfy to wear?

It actually is appropriate for me to see you using them on vacation because I'm considering this style as a day bag/purse for when I go to Italy. My mother would think I'm crazy, but I think having a great, fun bag like this would actually be perfect as a pop with really basic, versatile clothes since I'm not packing much. Also, I will be in Milan during fashion week so I want to have something cool.

I love all of them too! I've always been attracted to the Artsy print, since it is so bold. I think you should go all out on this bag. Get the funkiest one you can stand

You'll find that these bags are crazy durable, which I love. I don't want to pay a lot for something and have to baby it, kwim?

Yes, Rosie! I have that LAMB bag and I'm using it today actually. Mine is smaller than Sarah's I think. Its very durable and well made. I have three LAMB bags and I am hopelessly devoted to each of them. There are many on sale at the NAS. All solid though.

I like to make this LAMB bag the dominant pattern in an outfit. So it either stands alone with solids, or it's the dominant pattern when I wear stripes or polka dots. Have I even answered your question?

OMG. lol Sarah, I looked at the pic so quickly! You are both so lovely. I could probably order a few different ones to see which worked best and get feedback, as long as I force myself to return most of them.

I'm glad to hear they are durable, too. *Sigh*... I was partially hoping to get convinced not to get one. (OK, only sort of...not really...I have been staring at these bags for months now.)
