Ask Angie- Recommend Jeans

I need a new pair of jeans. I'm thinking maybe some straight leg or slim fit jeans to wear with these new loafers that I ordered:

I was thinking about trying Gap. I also left some Lucky Brand Sweet N Straight's at Burlington last night- half of me wants to go back and get them, but I was worried they would bag out.
Can you make some recomendations? Does David Kahn have a straight cut that you think would work for me?

I can't remember the style name right now, but I think Angie mentioned straight-legged (or were they bootcuts?) jeans by Paige denim.

Paige jeans for which body type specifically? In the next few months I may be looking for some similar cuts of jeans.

I don't know about those Lucky's, but I have a pair of Lucky bootcuts that don't bag at all.

Don't know how they work on different body types but my Gap Real Straights have not bagged out at all yet (unlike my Always Skinnies, which I have taken to calling Always Baggies). With the Gap jeans, though, pay attention to the fabric; it keeps changing. Mine has some polyester in it which I think maybe helps to mitigate the bagginess.

I agree with trying the Gap real straights (but as Suz says check fabric) and also try a few sizes. I have 10s that fit perfectly and 12s that fit identical.
I'm pining away for my David Kahn Lauren jeans as Nordstrom is no longer carrying them (at least not in store and in limited styles). They were my favorite pants and I've tried finding them all over the internet (I need a size down)
If you have a chance to go to Nordstrom or the Rack you can usually try a lot of different brands and cuts to get an idea what works for you. Paige Hidden Hills are favorites on YLF but don't fit me at all. However my favorite skinnies are my Paige Peg Straights. Go figure. Kut from the Kloth seems to have replaced the David Kahns at Nordstroms so you might try some of those as well.
