Ask Angie: plus size resort wear

I'm a bit of a newbie to your website. I am looking for plus size (14-16-18) resort wear. Bloomingdales website has nothing that I could find. Nordstrom (my preferred spot) has very limited selection. Please help. I would like a couple of bathing suits, a couple of cover ups. I've got the basics of khaki & white pants, sandals, tops that I can wear from last summer. I've never taken a beach/cruise/resort vacation, but after last year's Chicago winter, I decided that I'm never again going to try to just get through it, so I'm taking a break & heading to Phoenix for 5 days in February. This is outside my comfort zone, in a couple of ways.

I have broad shoulders, a large bust, a belly & no hips.

I was going to mention Chicos actually. I was there with a client today, and they are looking quite good. Also, if you can hang on till Feb - Nordies will have a lot more Spring stock on the shop floors by then. Especially in the bathing costume dept.

If you haven't already, take a look at Asos's plus collection. They skew rather young (not sure if that's a concern for you) but they seem to have swimwear most of the year, not to mention cute little dresses that could serve as cover-ups, that sort of thing.

Thank you! I will look at them all. I've bought a couple of things from Asos, but I don't normally look there. And I never even thought about Chicos or Soma.

Have you looked at Lands End? They usually have a good selection of suits.
