On my forum post about spring smart casual capsule you suggested that next I should try one where I combine white, pastels and midtones. I am very curious about the concept of midtones and pastels in the same capsule. Were you planning to post that capsule of your client's at some point? How would the midtones and pastels be combined together, as in two shades of the same color or of different colors? Or would it go pastels with pastels, midtones with midtones, and the two would mix only when originating form the same color?
What I was planning to do were the following two capsules:
1. All the shades of blue and white with a couple of colored accents ( lemon/citron, mid-purples and mid-pinks)
2. White and light grey and pastels.
However, your suggestion sounds very intriguing. Thanks!
