Firecracker, I saw that you bought these, and that is part of what inspired me to check them out. Your comment about principle really made me smile. I believe you are a sewer, so I can see how the lack of logic in the skewed let-out hem could rankle. I have to say that if nothing else I am impressed by the attention to detail and creativity in creating the look. Once I receive them I was planning on contemplating the hem in person, thinking how important the effect is to me, and whether I could just do what you said and cut them on the same angle.
Angie, thanks, I was considering that too. I'll have to see how the effect is in real life and whether I feel the need to preserve it. Of course the first big variable is whether they fit at all I did size up as you recommended in your notes.
