But I'm torn on the color: I pretty much only wear solid black leggings and medium-dark wash denim. Practically speaking, black would probably be the best choice ( as its slimming, and wouldn't cut my leg off at the lower thigh), but I already have 2 pairs of black calf length boots and I'm tired of black.
I'm loving the cognac color that these come in (I think that cognac would make them a great transitional item through our Fall/Winter months, right?), but are OTK boots too trendy in that color? Would it look odd and/or potentially limit my outfit choices? I like the grey too..but I already have a great pair of grey calf length suede boots.

My local store has them in my size in black only. I plan to go in and try them on for fit and comfort...but I would like a second opinion on the color.
