What a great source of information for when I finally go to Canada again
I'm 6ft2 (or 182cm) tall and I shop at Long Tall Sally occasionally, I was under the impression they were British market orientated only, but recently discovered they have stores in the USA and Canada as well.
It is such a relief to actually have a brand like that where the clothes are properly proportioned for taller ladies, not just made with longer sleeves or trouser length And LTS have had some great items this season in my favorite colors, so I've treated myself more than usual. After ruthlessly discarding everything in the wrong color and style a few months back, I had to
One tip though, they did say (can't remember where I red it) that they had amended the sizing a bit, but I was quite surprised to see that some of the items I tried on were no longer good for me in size M, but S or even XS! A day has come when I'm officially tiny and I have a tag to prove it.
Regarding other brands Angie mentioned, if I mad add my two pennies worth, I do struggle with most of them when it comes to trousers, most brands consider 33'' to be long length and for me 36'' is the minimum.
Also, some other European brands you might check are: Topshop (but their sizes are frustrating, I'd need to go as far as 16 or even 18 at times - very very bad for the self-esteem), Dorothy Perkins (I remember some great finds for tall maternity clothes), next.co.uk had started doing Tall range (and they really are tall) and Mango.
