So, in theory I *get* PPL. I just have such a hard time applying it to real life. I have been until this point doing ok with my pants and flats or kitten heels. However, when it comes to wearing my heels- and I DO want to wear them- I struggle to make them work with my pants.

I just bought these wide-leg navy linen trousers and the fit is good everywhere. Hopefully you can see in the photos that they do indeed skim the ground. And I do think they make me look taller. But, also make me look footless. Perhaps I have a sucky tailor (and limited choices) or perhaps I can't communicate effectively, but I am wary of hemming as they always come out too short. I would like to have these taken up, but I am afraid that even a smidge will cause them to flare on the frontal view.

Any advice on how to communicate what I want? Also, are tailors able to do a ...I don't know how to explain...shorter in front and longer in back hemline?
Oh, and heels would be 2.5-3" typically.

Disclaimer: I have had trouble loading YLF lately, so if I don't respond immediately it's bc I can't, not bc I don't appreciate the comments!
