I had a very minor break today in an insane weekend of call. I decided to go to the downtown Seattle Barneys to treat myself to a fancy shower gel.
I haven't been in there since they remodeled. I was very confused honestly. I also don't like how they separated the shoes. I had less than 1/2 hour so maybe more time would be be enlightening. I wonder who they are marketing to. I remember reading they were getting rid of some (all?) Co-op's.

I posted my thoughts about it in the off topic thread. But basically it was too mediciney and herbal for me, and I like WEIRD scents, eg Serge Lutens Daim Blond. Although smelling things after 15 hours of overtime may have not been the best idea.

AGREED.

I was in the new Barneys yesterday, after buying bedding at Nordies. I don't like that make-up counter in the shoe section at all :(. I don't get it. There is more space and less on the floor overall. Perhaps it's an in-between seasonal thing and things will look better after the sale and when they restock for Fall.

Have you been to Barneys in NYC? There's one on the Upper West Side that's close to Fashion Week that I love. It's so fab to walk in and browse and only one floor.

It's a shame if they get rid of their co-op stuff. It set them apart actually. What do you think?

I think the co-op was better suited for Seattle actually. I think I spent too much time in the store anyways, because I was recognized by more than one salesperson, HA!
