Ask Angie: need help with this new midi skirt!

I have asked for help with this new midi skirt in this post:

and received such mixed feedback that I really need your opinion!

Pic 1 shows the skirt on its current length on the left and the same length but tapered on the right
pic 2 shows skirt 1" shorter - again current width on the left and tapered on the right
Pic 3 shows the length just below the knee - straight on the left and tapered on the left.

I want to be able to wear it with flats and low heels so which length is better and tapered or not?

I like tapered 2 and 3 for different reasons, but am leaning toward 3.

To answer your question, my preference is for the tapered look at all three lengths. I think it looks fab at the longer length as long as it's tapered, like in pic 1(b). But I would wear it with a small heel if you're going to leave it long. If you want to wear it with flats, I think it looks best shortened to below the knee, like in pic 3(b), or even a little longer, like in pic 2(b).

I am not Angie, and surely her advice will be more valuable than mine, but I think the length on number one with the tapered hem creates the longest leg line and the most flattering effect. Shortening the skirt makes the garment look boxier, and by default, makes the wearer look boxier, too.
