Angie, are any of the NAS knee-high boots good for a petite girl with narrow calves? I really like the Miz Mooz ones but I'm afraid they'll be too tall for me.

I don't think the Miz Mooz will work

The Aquatalias will though.

thanks, Angie! The Aquatalias are way out of my budget and strangely don't appeal to me that much, in pictures. Maybe I'll try the Frye button back? They seeemed to work well on Sammi who is about my height and also has narrow calves, I think.

The Frye Melisssas you mean? They will be too wide at the calf and too high on the shaft - trust me.

Slouchy boots are much more forgiving on the calf area. Have you tried any of those?

ok, just pulled the trigger since I saw Zappo's had the Cindys on sale...bought them in *Sand*--completely anti-bookending

Some of the NAS boots were so cute though...but I don't want to spend another $100 on making the shaft narrower, especially when there's so much detailing that might get messed up.

I think Sammi got the Frye Strappy Jane (or something similarly named)? I was also looking at getting them.

Thanks Aida! They were the strappy Janes. I'm 5'2'' with narrow calves and they worked well on me. They're a bit slouchy, but I think that's ok for this style. I also like that the fit can be adjusted a bit with the straps.

Well all I know is I just checked them and now I want the Frye Strappy Janes! I wonder how long they will be around for. I don't see why they wouldn't work for you, C1.
