Looking for some reassurance, I suppose, about that "age-appropriate" topic again...
You know, I've never been age sixty-two before and in my mind, I "feel" like I did in my younger days. (For the most part, give or take a few more body aches.)
Yet lately when I look in the mirror, I only faintly recognize the face staring back.
This is sad to me, yet I accept this part of the aging process.
I've always been determined to age "gracefully" but now I'm unsure what that looks like?
Today I read an article from an older woman whom I highly respect and her opinion is that older women should not try to appear kittenish, since it's obvious to others and makes her appear silly.
