Ask Angie: K/R while I still have time to return Blouse & jacket

I have a blouse & a jacket that I need to return soon if I want to. I haven't put together an outfit. I wouldn't necessarily wear this combo. Just showing the blouse & top so they might look better when styled. Thanks! Also the jacket doesn't button. Although the jacket might not look good in this combo (I think it might need a different shirt) is it OK with the blue jeans?

I like them both!
The jacket would be too roomy I think if you sized up.
The blouse is pretty- have you tried it tucked and semi-tucked?

I will try tucked & semi. I usually try to hide muffin top under blouses though. Here is the semi tuck. Btw the jeans are a keep or return too & I will probably post separately when i can get someone else to take front & back pics of them but let me know your opinion on those thanks:)

I think both are good pieces, and I like them all together with the blue jeans. I would just wear a darker cami under the top to avoid the "grinning" effects - a blue one that matches the darker jeans perhaps? Or whatever that darker dot color is.

Have you tried scrunching the jacket sleeves?

I do wear my white denim jacket with blue jeans sometimes. More often I wear it with dresses. It's a great little wardrobe addition and I think would be even better for you with your climate. (I can only wear mine in summer here.)
