Last year I was looking for boots and was always drawn to military/combat style boots (I'm not sure if that's what they are called) but thought I was too old to pull them off. This year I happened to see them on the clearance rack and thought I'd try them again since now I have jeggings and skinny jeans. I kindof like them and both of my daughters (ages 18 and 22) give them a thumbs up. I thought I'd get an expert opinion, though, keeping in mind that I'm 48.
I tried them with my skinny jeans, but the bottom is too wide to tuck. Do they work with jeggings, should I keep them for bootcuts, or should I just return them?
