Ask Angie: it is again me and that dress!

I have not pulled a trigger yet on the dress I asked you about earlier:

I have almost done it but then it occured to me that this red color may be unflattering on me. I don't know if I can trust the online picture but it looks like cool red with blue in it. I suit warm reds and true red and muted reds. Cranberry is a good color for me also as well as burgundy unles there is a lot of blue in them.
Can anybody who has seen this dress in person comment on the color?

Sveta, no answers but I commiserate. I, too, find it scary to order online without being able to see the item in person. Colours especially can be so deceiving.

Have not pulled the trigger on my own potential order, either. Did you decide to try the jacket?

Suz, I am going with the jacket but not sure about the dress...
Even on sale it is not cheap and will be around $100 with duties and taxes...<sigh>

I know. That is part of what is holding me back, also. I am really trying to think through whether or not these will be good items in my wardrobe or whether I am just too caught up in the excitement of feeling able to order due to free shipping. Next year I am definitely going to do the NAS sale and going there to pick up the stuff!

Not Angie obviously, but this looks like a gorgeous cranberry to me, Sveta! Though frankly, I'd bet I'd like a blue-red on you too. I can commiserate about the high duties, etc., but as someone who buys probably 90% of her clothes/footwear online, I say at some point you just have to pull the trigger :)! You saw the note about how the dress runs large and that you should order a size down? I always weigh that sort of info when I'm ordering...

Sveta you look stunning in the cobalt blue jacket and this color usually works as well for those who wear the jewel bright colors. I am very tempted to order it myself.

Angie, thanks for green light! I will pull the trigger tonight...
Jonesy, I know, I have to grow up... I have seen the note about it running large: I am in between 10-12 in size and I will order 10. I hope my mom can alter it for me if it is still a bit big.
Suz, next summer you should come to visit me for a couple of days ans we will drive from my house and storm the NAS together. We will make a mini-vacation out of it - and maybe Jonesy can join us o the other side of the border too?
