Ask Angie: Is this how it is supposed to look?

I know I posted on the Zara blazer earlier, but I have not yet made up my mind if I should keep or not, so I thought you might give the final vote.

I love the colour and the idea of combining tailored / loose (sort of feminine / masculine, casual / dressy), but I am not sure if the blazer is supposed to fit on a taller person or if it is ok on a petite apple like me.

ETA: not styled at all!

I love the color and the cut but it looks a little large on you! The sleeves for sure need to come up a little.

I think this would look really good with jeans and the sleeves scrunched. It looks to me like it fits well in the shoulders and back and the cut is flattering for your mid-section. Gorgeous color on you too! Let's see what Angie thinks.

I think its a little big but I think thats the style(looser). Not sure if its my favorite on you though. Like the color but cut is kind of iffy

I like it. It's true the sleeves need to be shortened. Styled with something sleek underneath, it could be a real winner.

Yay I see Angie has spoken:) I love this jacket and I love it on you. I know this is not a styled picture but the shorts don't really do the jacket justice. I think with this jacket the best things is to create a long line underneath it. And wearing heels would be good too. I saw this online and I am wanting this myself. I do hope you are keeping.

Thank you lovely YLF-ladies! Despite the disagreement one the blazer, I let Angie's vote be decisive. I also wore it at home for a while yesterday and felt comfortable with the (unusual) cut. I think my hesitation was caused by the looser style that was a bit out of my comfort zone.

Anyway - today I went to the tailor to get the sleeves shortened. I really look forward to get it in action in a few weeks time. Claire, Deborah and JR had some good advice and I will try jeans and pencil, and work on a long line underneath
