Ask Angie: How to know one's fashion persona?

Hi Angie, I came across an old post asking members to update their profiles. I was wondering if there is a list or description of the various fashion personas so I can fill that part out. I am not sure how to classify my style.

Angie has a checklist of names in the profile section, but for a more personalised one... let the games begin! Wow! So many options and sources. I did Style Statement once... it’s a book and was also once a service...

Mita, a great thing to do is to share photos with the group (when you can) with the outfits you love, and we can have a good old brainstorm as to your unique persona. You could also link a Pinterest gallery or just images of outfits you like. That said, there are some sort of wide personas, e.g. classic, boho, etc that can be good jumping off points ... If you Google "what's my style personality" you'll find tons of quizzes, galleries and other resources to help you get started. Have fun with it!

Here is an additional approach that might at least point you in the right direction: Try some of the many online quizes. Just google "fashion personality" or "style personality" + "quiz".

Interesting that, according to your profile, you have been an YLF member for almost 8 years. I wonder if you have been wondering all these years ...

Thank you Suz, Angie and Cat. I have belonged for a long time but only been on intermittently (work, kids). As the kids start heading off to college their mom has more time to enjoy the things I used to love- like fashion!

I did google image Angie’s categories after the last set of responses and checked some of the boxes in the profile. Will also look at suggested links and maybe, if I can figure out how and have the guts, post pics when can. Really enjoy YLF- thank you all!
