I tend to get little holes in my tee shirts right around the belly area after sometimes just a year, or two years max. I don't remember this happening in my 20s (and I spent most of my 30s in maternity clothing, so I don't know what was happening then). Do they just not make them like they used to, or do I need to spend more on tees? (Ha, or maybe my belly sticks out more than it used to!)
My tees do get heavy wear—I have a small wardrobe (probably a stack of 8 to 10 tees at a time) and in the spring/summer/fall wear one almost daily. I've noticed that it happens around the button of my jeans, and I've caught myself rubbing that zone against the counter when washing dishes. But again—would I get longer-lasting tees if I spent a little more, or is this just the life of tees and I should expect to replace them annually or so?
