Let's say I'm considering a shorter do. Winter has been tough to go through with all the hats which basically bombed all my efforts to have decent hairstyle. I need(ed) my winter hats, i.e. all head and not just ears covered to keep warm, so my bangs paid the price and so did my overall hair happiness factor. I know the spring should rescue me from that feeling at least a little bit.
But, since I am still on the lookout for *the* stylist, following the move, I'll make an appointment with my friend's stylist over the Easter break. My friend has similar hair to mine (thick and lots of it) and always had great do, but in longer length.
Her stylist only styled my hair once. She did not cut it but commented how nice it is to work with it (interestingly, all my hairstylists said so) and drastic change is obviously a lot to ask, but I can't get the idea out of my head.
FWIW, I did have short hair twice in my adult life, both times I loved it and Mr.O so did not. Also, with the spring coming (hopefully sometimes this year) when I'll finally go hat-free I am happy to stay with the curent hairstyle.
I'm not saying I'll do it, but I am thinking aloud.
Should I even go down that route or not fix what ain't broken?

I admit to also being influenced by so many great short dos here recently. What can I say...
