Bf has recently been given the opportunity to step up into management...and as a result has been seized by a desire to dress the part. Our company is pretty casual overall, but its still a step or two up from what he was wearing for the past two years. This is not a man who is usually patient with clothes shopping for himself (seriously, he gets frustrated and runs out of steam usually by the time he tries on the 3 or 4 item) so imagine my utter surprise and delight when he asked to go shopping, then walked into Banana and started pointing out mannequin looks that he liked and wanted to try.

Two hours later, we walked out with a couple of dress pants, cashmere sweaters, and dress shirts. He's still a bit self conscious about layering collared shirts under sweaters, but he's getting there

Next on the shopping list are dress shoes and glasses....and this is where I need a bit of help. He needs glasses but has been procrastinating for the longest time because he gets frustrated with trying on different pairs. He actually asked if I could ask for input on the forum (!) so any suggestions in terms of frame style/size/color would be greatly appreciated...
