As has been ordered I am looking to add more items in saturated navy or ink to my wardrobe. I am looking at this BR navy blazer and think if this can be my suit? I have ordered navy straight leg trousers already and was considering this blazer as well but I have not seen it in person. For this price it should be 11 out of 10 - is it? Should I try it or wait for a better blazer to come along? Have you seen this one? What would be your verdict?

Sveta, I saw this blazer today in person and I liked it a lot. I think BR suiting is actually a really good deal because it is wool and fully lined. Also, the fabric does not change by season so you can add or replace pieces later on. I'm actually considering it in black for my suit too! I have the last season version (with 1 button) coming in the mail, it was the last one and on big sale. I would consider the two button version at full price if it's better too. Unfortunately they didn't have my size in regular in the store today but I did try a petite. Fit was nice but it was too short in arms and body for me. I hope the tall is long enough for you!

Angie, I am still looking for a suit. Your thoughts would be most welcome.

And, Sveta, I am going to go to Toronto next weekend and Mr. Suz has some BR returns to make so I will be in store, where they ought to have many sizes. So I can do some in person sleuthing.

Suz, my biggest worry is should I bite the bullet and buy it at 20%off or wait until it goes on deeper sale and risk for my size to run out? Almost all sale blazes are in a very limited sizes...
Thanks for offering to do the sleuthing. Our one and only BR store in London even though conveniently located in the closest mal is very small. It seems never have what I want!

I haven't seen the blazer in person yet. I do worry about the length. It looks short to me, Sveta. But no harm in trying.

Sveta, I think you should order it in your size. There is a 60 day return window. If it goes on deeper sale and is still available in your size you can return the original one. Doesn't that make sense?

I am going to look at it in Toronto anyway (for me and for you). And if they have that sequinned sweatshirt in store I will let you know.

I would say its a medium navy. Not sure it's deep enough to be ink blue. I do agree with Angie about the length. Its good for short me but maybe not for tall you. They didn't have talls in my store so I don't know how long they would be.

Angie, it says 26" front length - I thought it should be fine, no?
But in general are BR blazers good deal for this amount of money in terms of fit and quality or am I better off to look elsewhere?
Suz, thank you! I would love that sequin sweater if it is not too scratchy but it is gone completely now.
I think I will order it now. I have ordered navy straight leg pants but in size 14 because 12 was not available. I am afraid they may be too big. They have navy trouser cut in size 12 now so I think I will order them as well just in case- and while they are on sale. While I am on it I can also order the blazer, right? If I like the fit and color but it is too short I can try to order one in US - they have them in tall sizes.

Oh, yes! If it is too short, order in the US and do the border thing. I did that today for the first time, going to Alexandria Bay (45 minutes from me) and it was a breeze. I can tell I am going to be doing a lot of shopping that way!! If I bring my daughter I get twice the allowance, since she is not bringing anything back.
