Ask Angie: Fab shoes for work?

Do they exist? I work in retail...dusty, grimy warehouse style, walking on concrete all day.
My usual uniform is skinny jeans and a casual button-down...in the winter, I have several different pairs of boots which are great, but coming into spring and summer, it's time to re-evaluate. My standard has been Converse high-tops, but I'm very bored with those! I'm a 4" stiletto type of girl...any suggestions for some variation, hopefully a bit more fab?

p.s. I'm new to the forum, but not to the blog...most definitely my favorite blog!

I don't know how you would manage 4" stilettos on concrete all day! I've seen lots of cute high wedges for spring. If it's dusty and dirty, I would probably look for something with a closed toe.

I know...4" stilettos on concrete can be done, but for the job I have it just doesn't work at all lol, not even going to go there. Hand-loading tile and other manual labor is a usual part of my day.

So yeah, no heels, closed toe, decently comfy...and ballet flats are a no-go, my feet don't like those at all:P (Is that weird? that 4" heels are more comfy to me than absolute flats? Hmm.)
