Ask Angie: Eyeshadow

Hello, I made a conversation about 20 minutes ago asking for advise for my eyeshadow for today but nobody responded and I'm about to do my makeup so I figured I'd ask you.

Should I go with yellow and pink or brown, yellow, and orange eyeshadow with long sleeve black button up shirt with small flowers on it and ripped blue jeans? I'm going to a dinner and I will be a server and I want to look pretty.

AryLen12, personally, I find it hard to visualize the eyeshadow options you are deciding between. I can't see you or your outfit, either, and make-up is a vert visual thing. So I will defer to your best judgement.

I think it depends on your undertones, hair colour, eye colour, colour of the outfit etc. Its hard to comment without pictures really.

The makeup artist Bobbi Brown (you've probably heard of her makeup products) has always advised to pick eye shadow colors that are in the skin tones of your eyelids. Of course this means a very subtle natural look, but seems to flatter most everyone. I know there are more extreme bright colors to try, but probably better to practice at home or look at websites like MAC.
