K and DV, my tailor does a very good job doing exactly what I tell her to do--which always involves sewing. It's the style issue where I don't have that much faith in her opinion and the precision cut that I don't know if I could trust her to do just right.
Diane G, given your expertise, I'm so glad you chimed in. My first thought was to cut them myself in the wavy pattern, but the thought is a bit nerve-wracking. I would trust you to do it, but it's a leap of faith to trust myself, or even my tailor, with it.
