Ask Angie et al: Funeral appropriate?

For months I've been thinking I need to sort a funeral capsule, thinking is as far as I got though! I'm taking my Nan to the funeral of one of her friends next Monday and have nothing to wear!! I've managed to get a black jersey dress but need a topper, is a leather jacket appropriate? Or I have my black trench? X

I think for the older crowd the trench, for younger you could do the leather. Hope this doesn't sound too cold.

Thanks all I think I may need to hunt for a black cardi to wear under the trench it's not the warmest of coats and the weather has gone decidedly chilly x

Ink blue cardi would work too. I echo the vote on the trench coat.

I don't have a black skirt anymore however I do have an ink cardi but it has a black lace back though I guess over a black dress the lace won't show? I'll give it a go. I've ordered a couple of black cardi's too, hopefully something will work x
