Ask Angie et al: are these trousers worth buying?

I have seen these trousers in Le Chateau last Friday and tried them on:

Surprisingly they fit me well, not tight too much in the thighs which is a usual problem with slim trousers for me. Fabric is pretty substantial too. Of course they are cropped but I can shorten them to the clams length. Another good thing about this print is that it hides any fit issues - thigh wrinkles are not visible. They are also pretty low contrast with my skin - but I am not sure is this a good or bad thing
The problem is that Le Chateau does not do refunds, only exchange or store credit and I don't like to be tied with this.

So I need to be pretty sure they are worth buying before I pull the trigger. I wanted to add patterned trousers to my summer wardrobe - do you think they can be the ones or should I keep looking or more accurate, forget about slim patterned trousers for this summer because it is so hard to find a well fitting pair for me.

Love the pattern! I think it won't date as fast as the florals and the 'tribal' remixes. What tops would you wear it with?

Sveta I like these. This look with the snake skin print has ben very popular here. I think you would wear these well and I can see you wearing them with some color?

How you envisage styling them?

I would like to see how they look at this length on you, as they are very slim fit and you are tall.

Thanks! I think I can wear it with most of my solid bright tops - bright turquoise, coral, teal...
Maybe I pop up into the store today and risk to buy them - in the worst case I will have a store credit...

Yes, I think you should go for it! You would look amazing in those.

I like them. The subdued colours will make them wearable well into September, when some of the brighter floral pants would look a bit out of place. If they fit you and feel comfortable, why not try them?

I can see you working this Sveta - I like that the pattern isn't too much, they have a nice slim silhouette and you have the height/leg length to pull them off. Love the idea of them paired with turqoise or coral. I say "go for it"!

It will all depend on the fit! If you say they fit, they could work. You might need to adjust the length. Definitely DO NOT go too snug on these.

I vote Yay! If you change your mind, I'm sure you can find things to buy with the store credit. Le Chateau is known for being on-trend.

Just an update: I tried them on again and decided that the fit is not perfect on me.
I guess patterned trousers and me are not meant to be together!
