Thanks for your comments regarding the jumpsuit and the jeans/sandals and my reunion. It's actually a reunion weekend, so I will definitely wear those jeans and sandals, but there will surely also be a cocktail reception-type evening thing. I was hoping the jumpsuit would work but I know you've got reservations.

I had also been thinking about this dress from Emerson Fry (pic 1-2). What do you think of it? I also have that white Tibi dress with the capelet back from last year's anniversary trip, but that might be too dressy (see pic 3)?

It's difficult because I am not a dressy person and I like to buy things that can be dressed down, so I don't want a dressy dress.

What do you think?

I'm chiming in here, because I was going to comment on the previous thread. I like the jumpsuit but I don't think it's dressy enough for a reunion party. Also, if you want to stand out a little and impress the masses (or the few), I think you should wear something colored.

That Emerson Fry dress might swim on you.

I like the blue and white dress quite a bit, Viv. Could be gorgeous on you. It will need a cami though - are you okay with that?

I like that Emerson dress too - and it could be nice with heels and jewellery. What's the fabric - sorry not clicking through myself - ? It could read a little work-ish if it's in rayon ....know what I mean? I quite love that Tibi capelet number -

Am absolutely in awe about the dress and the jumpsuit both very trendy and so effortlessy chic and may I say also effortlessy dressy enough for the event (&without beeing overly dressy, as we are all of us afraid of lately)!!!!! +I don't know how I missed your threads lately, but went back now, and was ABSOLUTELY delighted of your outfits, including the work capsule! I love the jumpsuit, and would wear it on the reunion weekend, just not at the evening party. I would probably go with that gorgeous capelet dress as it seems the dressiest of all options, but I tend to like to really dress up for such occasions.

I love the jumpsuit and think it could be dressed up for the evening party, but it's pretty low-key. I like the idea of going with something a little more eye-catching. The Emerson dress is really great and seems very you. I like the dress you already have, too. Seems like it's really a question of which option feels best to you -- I don't think you could go wrong with any of these.

I like the Emerson Fry dress a lot and think it might look lovely on you -- but I also love your Tibi dress for the reunion, so I wouldn't worry -- you have a backup. Wear the jeans/ sandals AND the jumpsuit to different events.

Thanks Tanya (and everyone else ). I just tried on the capelet dress and I think you are right -- it's a really good option. I am going to keep the jumpsuit, roll or possibly taper the ankle at a tailor, and wear the capelet dress for any fancy event. I really can't afford the EFry dress right now, so this is a perfect decision for me. I appreciate your help!!!!
