I wore my Gap striped sweater with a pencil skirt today and I am not sure if it is too long for this skirt or not. I did scrunch sleeves during the day but forgot to do this for the picture
What would you change in this outfit for me or maybe this sweater does not go with this skirt at all?

It,s hard to get past those gorgeous boots! I suspect that the high contast of sweater with skirt added to the length of the sweater throws things off a bit. The same sweater in tan and grey, for example would probably work, I think. Do you have a denim pencil skirt that could be paired with the sweater? That said , I like the colors together and it doesn't look bad; certainly not frumpy! Have you tried this outfit with darker boots or booties to bookend the dark element of the sweater?

I like it. It looks sleek! The blue and yellow look great together and the boots/hosiery look neutral to me. I think you look cool.

I like it. I think my eye is starting to adjust to long pullovers with skirts. The boots almost bookend your hair, too.

Not Angie, but thanks to the fit of both pieces being impeccable, this almost looks like a colour-blocked dress to me --- meaning, the proportions don't seem awkward and the transition is effective despite the contrast. Guess your lovely long legs really help there! (And as Joy said, awesome boots! Love your cute tights too.)

Sveta, I am not sure you could look frumpy even if you tried:) I like this. The proportions work to my eye. I agree scrunching the sleeves just adds a little something. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I don't think you could look frumpy if you tried! I like the longer sweater length, it looks nice with your tall frame.
I think the colors/outfit work well together as you have styled them; you could also try Joy's suggestions and post the results so we could compare

Interesting question Sveta. I wore something similar a couple weeks ago and it felt sooo frumpy. I so wish I could post my picture but I'm in the process of removing my old piccies from my old cell phone. I think it looks good on you though.

Hi Sveta, I'm a fairly new member who hasn't posted her own intro yet, but I'm weighing in on this anyway. From what I've seen of your previous posts you are a very savvy stylish woman. Trust your own instincts. I think you hit the nail right on the head when you said perhaps the sweater and skirt don't even go together. I'd say at least not as they are here. You have three disparate elements here and nothing to pull them together.

I'd second Joy's two suggestions. Either try darker (preferably the blue or black that are in the sweater) footwear/hosiery to bookend, or a denim skirt.

Not frumpy. The extra short skirt (visible knee) saves the day, along with the the tall leg line of the boots. Although I do prefer this length of pullover with jeans and trousers.

I don't mind this outfit as is. Does this turtleneck also work tucked into the skirt or is it too bulky? I think my eye just got used to seeing waist definition with skirts.

Whew, at least I did not commit a fashion crime yesterday. Thank you!
Saying that I don't think I will be pairing this sweater with skirts again, it really does not make me feel as fab as usual. I will leave it for the jeans!

I just did the opposite, Sveta, wearing a sweater that's a little shorter than ideal with my skinnies for a day trip into Chicago. Felt frumpy, but fortunately was in my coat all day!

I think you look quite fashion forward here, and agree that your height and the skirt length make it work --- even if it's not enough to make you feel fab.
