As part of my journey into boho lite and the desire to add some color and pattern to my spring wardrobe, I've been staring at the CeCe Ditsy Floral blouse you posted as part of your Relax Style Roundup. I adore the pattern, soft shape and coral color. I noticed that you indicated it has good drape and is "roomy".

The blouse is actually available at my local Bay store via online (not sure if it's in store or not) at a great price. Based on your roomy comment, would you suggest I go with my regular size or size down? Also wondering if you think this blouse would be too overwhelming/long on petite me?

I LOVE this blouse, Shannon. It's soooooo pretty! You did read in my write-up that the colours in the photo are off? It's more neon in person.

I got my regular size and am wearing it roomy because the drape is that good. How do you feel about the very high neckline? I can't seem to remember whether you wear those. Other than that, I think you might like it.

Hi Angie - I did see your comment about the color being more neon and that is even better for me!

I don't normally wear a higher neckline as I tend to like a v-neck to try and elongate my upper body. But I don't dislike that feature. And I'm thinking that if I found the higher neckline annoying, I could always take the blouse to Wonder Woman to have the neckline altered.

It's quite pretty, and it caught my eye too when Angie first posted it. I'm quite wary of the high neckline and how high up on the bodice the peplum/ruffle thing starts. Sleeves also look short on the model - something a little off about the fit. Sorry to sound negative, and I hope I'm wrong . It's such a good price right now - I hope you can find it and try it on for us

Necklines are hard to alter - I really wanted to alter my too-high Ted Baker dress and couldn't find anyone to do it. But WW may be the exception! Hope it works out.

Lisa - I'm thinking that too high flounces and short sleeves are exactly what will work for 5 foot me. But then again, it could make me look pregnant - lol!

Una - totally agree that the neckline alteration could be tricky. Fingers crossed it won't be needed.

I'll report back once I get a chance to try this pretty item.

Hi Shannon, I'm new to the forums and am browsing posts for the first time. I clicked into this thread because I loved this blouse when Angie first posted it.

I'm considering buying this garment, too, and I'm nowhere near petite : ) But the high neckline that Angie mentioned is a bit of a turn-off for me. I have blocky shoulders and ribcage and a B bust, and it's a broad expanse that can make me look masculine with the wrong neckline.

For myself, I'm thinking of wearing a golden, longer (bottom of sternum length) pendant, maybe in a tear shape and 2" in length, to create a "v" to elongate my silhouette. Might something like this work for you too, with a smaller pendant?
