Hi Angie, and anyone else who knows the answer to this. Out of curiosity, do you still call jeans "boyfriend jeans" if, when rolled up, they are full length? I bought a pair today which I really quite like. They are labeled "slim boyfriends", and were presented rolled. Basically they are low-rise, straight-ish leg jeans --perhaps a very slight taper -- and they are a faded blue denim. All indicators of boyfriends in my book. But because the inseam is 32", they are full length on me when turned up two times. (Normally I need a 30" inseam). I think of boyfriends as being rolled-up-to-cropped-length jeans, but I think they still look good rolled and full length. Because darnit, Angie, you opened my eyes to unflattering cropped pant lengths and now THAT'S ALL I CAN SEE. I can't roll my pants and wear flats anymore! (I still roll my pants and wear them with heels -- this, I feel, cancels out the Frodo effect). But these new ones have the boyfriendy rolled look, yet can be worn with flats without the appearance of short legs.
