A really like an idea of animal print booties but is is so hard to find them in my size!

Are they worth a try? Has anybody seen them in person? My main concern is that they are higher than the ankle in the shaft length so I am afraid they may not be very flattering with skirts (my ankles and calves are on the thick side).
Should I try them or keep looking?
