Ask Angie: (and others) Sizing on Amber Sun Jacket

Now that I've got the seal of approval for the Rachel Roy tree print skirt, I'm of course thinking about the Amber Sun double breasted jacket in the beautiful blue colour to go with it. I noticed that the review on the Nordstrom website says it runs large and to size down. Angie - would you agree? those that bought it - did you size down?

Yes! Bei-Jing usually wears an S. She wears an XS in this jacket.

Definitely size down. I got the XS, too, and it fits perfectly.

And I'm not Angie, but I love the purple for you! Of course you can't go wrong with the blue, either.

I am kind of leaning towards the purple myself - works really well with my salt-n-pepper hair. I normally wear between a medium and a large so would go with the medium.

You got the purple jacket too MaryK? I knew you'd purchased that gorgeous teal colour but didn't realize you bought the purple.

Have you received the python bag yet? Or have I missed that in a WIW post?

Yes! The python bag has arrived and is so, so gorgeous! I am waiting for the weather to cool off a bit because its debut outfit involves one of the Halogen seamed skirts and it's just too hot to wear it right now!

And yes, I ordered the Amber Sun jacket in both blue and purple and couldn't bear to send either of them back! I'd been looking for a true purple jacket for over a year so I am one happy camper! Again, I haven't busted it out yet due to our triple-digit temps!

Whoo hoo!!! We are definitely heading into twin territory...

This is the first time I've participated in NAS and I must say, I'm thrilled with everything so far (still the Blondo boots and now the purple jacket to arrive). It's going to drive me CRAZY not to wear any of these items until fall but a) it's too warm, and b) I really want these to launch my fall wardrobe so they need to wait. Have I ever mentioned I am NOT a patient person???
