Here is the denim vest, with jeans, but I would likely not wear it with these as unsure of denim on bluevdemin. I have black jeans, white jeans and a couple of summer skirts that might work. Feel free to be honest with me. Fit, age appropriate. proportions etc. thanks

I love it. It's ageless, classic and fun! I especially like it with the black. I have no problem with denim on denim. I would keep it. It's a great piece to use as a light layer. I wear mine all the time during the summer. In fact, I need to pick one up for DD so she quits borrowing mine so often. Must check this one out. Love the wash.

I am not sure on the length. It should work in theory being a third of the outfit but for some reason I would like to see it longer. Maybe the white shirt is throwing me off? You seem unsure yourself, do you LOVE it? will you wear it with abandon and enjoy yourself?

Have you tried denim vests in various washes (light, med, dark)? Just so you know you are choosing the right color one for you. The light wash is great for summer of course. How does this one feel in the arm holes? You don't want it to feel snug there at all I'd think - but not too big either.

I'm with Jayne - I'd ask yourself "Do I love it?" Will I wear this a LOT?"

I love the concept of denim vests but I am not loving this one on you. It might really have to do with the cut, it seems a bit tight and draws attention to unwanted areas.

I'm not giving up on my vest twin so easily. I like it best with your black t and pants. Do you have a long sleeved black t to try it with. I like the contrast of your light wash vest and the darker colours. I like a scarf to add a feminine touch, but I 'm just experimenting like you. My daughter's advice was to have one feminine element in the outfit, like flowered jeans, a skirt, dress or scarf.

I think you might need to size up though. Personally, I LOVE faded washes. But you have to love that wash too.

First, I wanted to say that I love denim vests (and so does my 60+ Aunt). So I do feel they are age appropriate. I like the way you've styled the vest. As for this actual one... perhaps you might want to size up?

I am going to return this one and continue my hunt for a denim vest. I think it will be great for my lifestyle so the quest will continue. Stay tuned...and thanks for the input
