First of all, sorry for my sporadic presence, we're in between two trips, so there has been and still there is a lot of re-packing, plus we have some important decision-making to deal with these days and I'm stretched quite thinly.
Here is the question though. Should I stick with my current hairstyle or try something else?
I love my hair now. I always wanted to have bangs and bob, and with Angie's nudge in that direction and because I finally had the right stylist who could make that perfect haircut, I took the plunge and everything was just perfect. Now I know what to ask for whenever I want this type of haircut in the future.
However, my lifestyle has changed in recent months and with that I have observed a few things that make me think of possibly trying something different.
I now walk and cycle a lot, and am rarely in the car (not at all if I can avoid it). This means a lot more exposure to elements, so my sleek bob can't remain sleek for long - wind and moist do their 'magic' on my naturally slightly wavy hair, which is also very thick, so the volume is one issue
Also, with the weather getting colder I will be wearing hats a lot - very bangs and hairstyle unfriendly. I want to keep the bangs, I'm just mentioning practical issue I'm encountering.
My priorities will likely change when I find a job (although I'm still not looking), but for now I am exploring the options to try something else. And although I will not give up on wanting hairstyle that looks polished, no matter how casual my lifestyle is at the moment, I just want to consider something that is also much more practical and winter-resilient
Length is not an issue. I don't want to go too short, but am definitely open to go shorter than my current length around the chin.
Most importantly - since I've managed to get an appointment with my old hairstylist for next week when we're back in England, I know he can do any magic and want to make the most of the opportunity of having him cut and style my hair.
So, any ideas and thought are greatly appreciated
Thank you so much in advance.
