Does anyone know if Uniqlo red is red or burgundy? It looks so burgundy on my screen. Also is Uniqlo sized more for an average-height woman than a tall woman?

Does look like a dark rusty burgundy to me but I have not seen in person.

Looks like a brown burgundy. Probably quite accurate. You should have no problem with the length of these.

Pay attention to the number in front of the colour. The "17 Red" is sort of a cranberry colour, I think. "18 Red" is a little bit darker, more of a wine/burgundy. Go lower (16-15-14) and you move towards true reds, and then into fire engine/poppy...

Uniqlo doesn't really do descriptive names for colours, I suspect because they're a global brand and colour names are hard to translate.

ETA: The inseam length on these is listed as 20" (measurements are provided in the Size Chart) -- which would be culotte length on me, definitely shorter than what I'd call a cropped pant.

I have not seen this in person, but I have seen true red in Uniqlo as well as brick red and rust. I would suggest that the above is the most red version of the item, but not the tomatoe red we normally expect with the label RED.

I own several Uniqlo items and I would say they run true to size. The cropped trousers and skirt I purchased landed as shown on the model. I'm 5ft 7in. Their labelling is very helpful.
