Hi Lovely YLFR'S
I ordered this blouse from Talbots and I really like the color and pattern but want to get more opinions on whether I should keep it or not. Please excuse the lack of makeup and limited styling I have done with it!

I think its very pretty on you! I would keep it. As for style, even if you wear same light colored jeans, all you need to do is to add some nice sandals and this would be suitable for pretty much anything. Add high heels, its a nice dinner outfit. There are a LOT of ways to style this so I think its a good buy.
FYI, this is coming from someone who is not a fan of patterns in general but I like this one:)

I like it - seems like it would be very versatile and I love the deep tones. Is it silk? I can't see the armholes but assuming they are good, I think it looks very nice on you.

I'm on the fence - is that a Hawaiian/Hibiscus print? Maybe it's just because you usually layer under a jacket, but the first impression is that it seems different than your style? Of course, maybe the monitor is playing tricks on me with the print.

It is a print called Surf. I have included a better pic of it from their website below. I know it is not my typical style but I am trying to add more color and patterns to my summer wardrobe. I do appreciate your opinion very much!

I like the fit on you, but there is something about the print in combination with the cut that reminds me of the Worthington line at Penney's - not a bad thing in itself, but not exactly what I see as your style.

I can't really put my finger on what I am uncertain about but maybe is that it doesn't feel like "me". Problem is, I don't have a complete handle on what my style is and so I feel like I should be trying different things. I love the color but am unsure about the scale of the print and the cut (all the ruching). It's definitely different then what I usually wear.

THis is definitely a keeper. I can't say much about the fit but print is definitely small enough for your petite frame.

It looks pretty but unfortunately it is difficult to judge with the camera hiding the collar. My other question is: is it long enough for you? Can you move easily, raise your arms without it riding up too much? I say this because I noticed that Talbot often cater to short-waisted bodies.
As for the print, it is very pretty and somewhat unusual. It's lively and will brighten an outfit.

I learn by trial and error too, Meredith - it can be pricey but I don't seem to learn any other way. I'd like to see it styled if you intend to keep it!

I love it! Very flattering colour and cut indeed. And I too think it looks just fab with the white jeans. What else were you thinking of wearing it with? Maybe if you make a few outfits, you'll know if it plays well with the rest, since it seems to be a stretch from your usual and may be what's making you think twice? (*I* may think it's a good stretch, but you're the one who has to live with it!)
