Ask Angie and Greg - Profile Section for Wishlist

I don't know if anyone else is interested in the idea, but I would love a section in the profile to put current wishlist items, shopping list, etc. Not only would this be nice for personal organization for shopping trips, stalking online sales, SYC, etc., but it could also serve as a reminder of what other forum members are hunting for.

I also believe this feature would translate well to the app platform as it evolves.

Yes, we've had our eyes on this for a while and it is on the list. Thanks for the detail on why you'd find it useful -- that will definitely help us to build the right features.

If anyone else would like to add their take on whether they would find it useful, and how they would use it, that would be great.

OMG, I would love that - I was just wondering how I could possibly keep my wishlist organized and in one place, with possible links. And if they could be to affiliates so Angie could get something out of it when we do buy, that's even better. And then my husband can come shop here - maybe we could have a way to make our personal wishlist accessible to others... like Warren Buffett.

I would find this highly useful.
I occasionally bookmark/favorite links on my computer but that is difficult to organize and stay on top of.
I had tried to use Pinterest for some of this type of functionality but it really doesn't work all that well and I don't like the public nature of Pinterest. Some sites offer wishlists which I occasionally use (particularly amazon.com and net-a-porter.com) but an aggregating function via YLF would be much appreciated!

Greg, thank you for your reply. I am happy to hear this idea is on the drawing board. Depending on how far you'd like to take the feature, I'd find the ability to add photos and links to the list incredibly useful.

A shopping diary for entering information such as photos, outfit ideas, price etc. about recent purchases would also compliment the wishlist/shopping list nicely. Sort of an all in one virtual closet/inspiration/budget tool. I think there is a lot of potential in that.
