Winter came early to the NE so I've been thinking about my winter clothing collection, which is not as fab as I'd like it to be. Most of the sweaters I have are pilling or have bagged out, and I'd like to invest in getting some warm yet stylish sweaters of decent quality this season. By "warm" I mean the kind of sweater you wear as a outer layer over something else, not a stand alone knit top--I have plenty of those and they're not warm enough. I know jackets can also provide warmth, and I have quite a few of those, but sometimes in the winter I just want a sweater and sometimes I find myself taking off jackets because I feel like I don't have full arm mobility with them (I work with my hands in lab and am often stretching and reaching for things). Any recommendations? I've been scouring various websites but nothing's caught my eye yet.

I'd prefer them to be less than $150, ideally less than $100.
