Yes, I'm still on the white sandal thing. Sorry! It might be a continuing search. I'm not sure about something and I'm hoping to get some honest feedback from some good eyes.

I've tried on each of these pairs of sandals with some capri/clams that I wear a lot in summer, to get a better sense of what they look like at least partially styled. Pants are a little rumpled, but they're a little RATE anyway.

Anyway, I'm noticing that in the Sol Sanas and the Rag & Bones there is a bit of extra room in the top of the foot -- the leather gaps a bit around my foot. Obviously sizing down is not an option. Does this bother your eye? I've tried to capture it in the pics as best I can.

I included the Loeffler Randall pics too -- they have no fit issues, but I feel like its too much coverage on my foot, both for flattery and for hot summer weather.

I'm starting to realize why I've stuck with slip-on and thong styles in the past. I want something a bit more current and substantial-looking, but I don't want to go too chunky and sacrifice flattery too much.
